The WAY AHEAD What identifies and unites patriots is not membership of this or that party but steadfast allegiance to the five fundamentals of British patriotism , namely: Unity, Kinship, Family, Freedom and Self-sufficiency. Thus it only takes the fingers of one hand to check out anybody’s actual loyalty to race and nation. It follows that any party or organisation which doesn’t survive this test is likely to prove a snare and a delusion for patriotic people seeking the best way forward. Such people really must ask themselves how much a membership card and occasional magazines preaching to the converted will do to reverse this country’s decline into a multi-racial province of a federal Europe. And the answer is, not a lot. Membership magazines can of course promote and encourage patriotic fellowship to some extent. But it has to be said that some of them are apt to confirm people’s worst suspicions about the literacy, mentality and political savvy of their contributors. We don’t need repetitious reminders of the state the country is in ; they’re plain enough already to most of us. Nor do we need semi-literate rants, medieval mythology and dismal doggerel to strengthen our patriotic resolve. So the constant appeals to stump up more money are obviously undermined by the poor quality of some allegedly patriotic publications. But the main burden of this article is that we simply cannot afford to put all our patriotic eggs in a single party’s basket . That makes it all too convenient for a devious Establishment and hostile media to infiltrate, subvert, legally incapacitate and stigmatise the patriotic movement as a whole.; just bash the basket. As observed elsewhere, shunting the patriotic movement with all flags flying into a permanent siding is the Establishment's best insurance policy . The wagons will soon be deserted by disappointed and quarrelling ticket-holders. No, the patriotic bond is the five fundamentals, and this takes precedence over leadership posturing and ambitions and whether or not a particular party best represents the patriotic cause and promises worthwhile results. So just take a long, hard look at the realistic prospect of a nationalist party taking office in the foreseeable future. Out of sight within your own lifetime, wouldn’t you admit ? And until you can persuade enough people otherwise they will tend to regard support for the nationalist parties as a wasted vote. It might serve to register a protest every five years, but that’s about all. Meanwhile of course the immigrant vote will be gaining momentum in more and more constituencies, the government and so-called opposition parties will continue their betrayal of our freedoms to the EU, and any troublesome nationalist party will be subject to internal divisions as well as subversion by all the renegade agencies. All of which diminish the nationalist parties’ prospects year on year. So you may well suspect we’re well on the way to that terminal siding if not already in it. Come on! Only 12,500 BNP members to date !, And what are the bookies’ odds on having three BNP MPs seven years from now, let alone enough to make a difference.? What to do then to give British patriotism invincible foundations and provide an attractive and effective focus for its undoubtedly numerous allies? Not another monolithic party, for reasons already given. Patriotism by definition is rooted in the hearts and minds of individuals anywhere in the country, regardless of their social status and personal circumstances. All such individuals are desperate to find a focus for their feelings and all too limited resources; and just buying a membership card and casting a party vote now and then is nowhere near good enough. . That focus has to be local, easily affordable and well-positioned to mobilise increasing support and make its presence felt not just at elections but by officialdom and renegade elements at any time. After all, the damaging consequences of alien invasion and government perfidy are not political abstractions but localised events , affecting such things as housing, schooling, employment, law and order, mosque building, the environment and public morale. This is the real front line of patriotic resistance ; so this is where its forces need to be mobilised and concentrated to best effect. Individual patriots can then coalesce into whatever groupings they prefer, as social clubs or whatever with no obligatory title . Membership need not involve centralised lists, identity cards and regular subscriptions , subsisting on the goodwill and spontaneous contributions of members to support local initiatives. Most of them being known to each other and in frequent social interaction; security against outside subversion is no problem. They cannot be targeted by hostile media, since their only political platform is the Fundamental Five, and that cannot be attacked without exposing the perfidy of the attackers. They can also produce their own magazines , which are likely to sell quite well in view of their local content, subsidised of course by local businesses. And membership of innocuously-titled local groups does not expose individuals to victimisation by officialdom or anybody else. For obvious reasons this localisation of patriotic forces will not commend itself to those individuals with a party ‘career’ to protect. They will argue that their national body already has local branches and that it has more ‘clout’ than numerous local factions could muster. But as already indicated, on the showing to date that ‘clout’ isn’t nearly enough to win the fight . Moreover, the history of squabbles between nationalist HQ officials and their local branches is dismal testimony in itself. So no disrespect to those engaged at national level, but they have to face certain facts however personally inconvenient ; namely that
So it would be unwise and counter-productive for nationally-based parties to oppose the establishment of independent patriot groupings . Proliferation of these local groups could only entrench patriotism more deeply throughout the country, and give every patriot a real opportunity to participate in the recovery of our homeland.
